At this point, you should be able to compile a task list for yourself and your team. The next step is to implement the task list set out for you or your team, which can be executed through delegation. Delegation is needed when the volume of work to be done is more than an individual’s physical and mental capacity. Delegating tasks would involve assigning duties to subordinates, granting authority to subordinates to perform assigned duties, and obligating subordinates to perform their duties in an orderly manner. The following principles will help you delegate tasks.
